ONE of our priorities is to do Works of mercy. It seems when that happens, God shows up mercyWORKS is about numbers, the number of touches, the number of prayers, the number of meals, the number of eyes looking in the window that see Jesus, the number of feet walking thru a door of hope, the number of people gathering at the table of God. It’s about NUMBERS 50 households served at the food help door last Wednesday nite… 14 vineyard people who showed up ready to serve, ready to pray, ready to love others into the Kingdom of God. 1 local family who saw the cheesey sign out front and donated to vecc 2 bags of food and 1 very large frozen turkey! Food help door opens Wednesday’s 6:30-7:30pm- just show up! |

A Message from Pastor John We are delighted that you're checking us out. Vineyard Eastgate is a church of coffee, guitars and blue jeans, an easygoing church practicing the mercy and acceptance of Jesus. We believe the Bible is true; the words of the Holy Scripture are the very best diagnosis of the human condition. Our priorities are the Kingdom of God, works of mercy, partnering with the emerging generations, and training teams to serve God and neighbor. Deep in the Old Testament is a brief statement that continues to captivate my heart: "Therefore I am going to allure her, I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her. There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the valley of Achor [trouble] a door of hope." My prayer is that this vineyard, this spiritual center, will be an entry where you can bring your friends to find hope and a future. Thank you for sharing your life, experiences, dreams and talents.
